O HAI. I don't do Flash yet; I work with mostly Graphic Imaging (usually PSCS2) and Dreamweaver, and I'm attending college for a degree in Graphic/Multimedia/W eb Design. Hopefully I'll submit something someday.

HAI THAR.
Yeah. I just wanted to make a news-post because EVERYONE has one on the front page except me, and this makes me feel extremely non-conformative. SO HERE I AM.
Oh yeah.
So I tried teaching myself Flash last night, and I learned how to make a circle move a few inches, thanks to Tom. And then I tried to make an MP3 player. COMPLETE FAIL. And then, I digressed and settled for a "beginner's" tutorial. ANOTHER COMPLETE FAIL. No one understands that "beginner" often means "I don't have a fucking clue what I want to learn, but I want to learn it anyway".
I wanted to get a jump on this because I'm probably going to be SO far behind all the people in my classes; what better way to prove I don't belong with a bunch of graphics geeks (who I envy) than by being one of the only girls in a class, loving the written word, having little experience other than fairly simple (to me, anyway) Photoshop/Imageready editing skills/animations, having a major obsession with music, having no grasp of basic programming illustrative skills, and not knowing how to use Flash. And don't even begin on Blender; my computer won't even run it. And speaking of which, I don't have a goddamned clue what I'll really be learning. And that disgusts me.
Ugh.
Maybe I should just change my damned major now.
Did anyone even understand what I just said? If so, please call 911, or your local ER, and report that you will need immediate help due to a severe cranial aneurysm.

So yeah. Applied to a college. I'm not looking forward to this. There's too many goddamned complications, beyond that of money. I still need to find someone to room with, although the college claims to help students find a roommate. I know who I want to room with, but they may not be moving, and they're also the lucky boyfriend of a jealous (and hypocratic) bitch. :3 All's well that ends ruining someone else's plans, right?
